The Ancona School is a progressive private Chicago preschool and private elementary school in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood rooted in the Montessori school tradition. The school is one of Chicago's most diverse private preschools and Chicago day schools. Ancona serves students from pre-k through 8th grade. Children receive an independent education based in the Montessori school tradition. Most of Ancona's students go on to attend the top public and private high schools in Chicago.
